Collection: Watercolor Studies

These watercolor paintings are part of my regular practice, painted mostly from life. Some of the studies are from my figure painting classes with a live model, but most are from my practice at home or while traveling, painted in New York or Rhode Island, Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Munich, Paris, etc. Figure, still life and outdoor scenes are painted from life, but copies of 19th Century paintings by the masters are occasional exercises and will be noted on the study. 

These paintings are are painted on 100% pure cotton paper (French Arches paper or Italian Amatruda) and will be shipped in a protective mat. Please note that as sizes vary, the mat used for shipping may not be a perfect fit for the painting, so custom-cut mats are recommended prior to framing.
