I love using 19th Century soap dishes and asked Guy if we could try making some. I made these in his shop in January, and they were very finicky to construct, so there are only 3 available. I first threw two pieces of clay on the wheel in a bowl shape and then attached them together before piercing the drainage holes. When the soap dishes were leather-hard, we decorated them with slip that was 'joggled'. A video about how these were made is up on my YouTube channel!
