Collection: Individual Marbled Papers

This is a craft I've been tinkering with for years, inspired as a child and playing with acrylics in my basement and then, as an adult, learning about the professional tools and techniques born in Turkey, with the craft known as Ebru. A couple years ago I had the opportunity to learn about traditional marbling techniques in Florence, Italy.

The papers offered here were made in the barn in Rhode Island using the Fabriano and Arches papers, my favorite. These are, to me, art pieces meant to be displayed as a whole sheet, but do with them as you please - even it means cutting them up to use as endpapers in a hand-bound book; the traditional use for these papers.
