The captial 'L' is one of my favorites to write in Spencerian script. My friend Michael Ward showed me a common flourish for enveloping the entire word with the bottom loop of the 'L'. To create this card, I ended up writing the word 'love' about 30 times. I realized that I needed to do it quickly for the look I wanted.
These cards have been letter-pressed by hand using a plate that was made from my original ink drawing, printed onto 100% pure cotton paper in Pearl White.
